About This Project
Designed to promote openness in Ghana's electoral system, this platform aggregates and visualizes election results, historical trends, and constituency-level data through interactive tools, making complex information accessible to citizens, journalists, and researchers.
The Challenge
Election data was fragmented and hard to access in real time, with limited public tools for understanding results, maps, and historical patterns during high-stakes periods.
Our Solution
A data-intensive React application with D3.js visualizations, backed by a Python pipeline and geospatial PostgreSQL database. Built to scale during election surges with caching and efficient querying for maps and charts.
